Poomsaes, or forms, are a series of movements and fixed patterns that provide the offense and defense techniques that are used against an opponent. They can be practiced with or without an instructor.  Master Kim demonstrates the art of the poomsae in the accompanying videos.

The symbol for this poomsae is “Keon,” which means heaven or sky and symbolizes the beginning of everything.  As such, this is the first and most basic form, using the fundamental movements of Taekwondo.
